My name is Matthew Quinney. Since retiring, I have a lot more time to devote to some of my interests. On the music front, I have acquired and am learning to play a 6-string acoustic guitar. I have also built two 3-string guitars using cigar boxes as the body and am learning to play them as well. So far I'm better at building than playing.
I'm also interested in aircraft, and am helping to restore a WWI Thomas Morse Scout, a single seat advanced training aircraft that was built here in Ithaca in 1918. This prompted my interest in joining allmetalshaping - I have some parts I need to make and don't know a lot about sheet metal shaping.

Welcome, and if you ever need a hand, please ask! We'd love to see pics of the aircraft you are working on Marty
