Hello Justin and welcome. Looks like your project will require many different skills. Are you using mainly hand tools?

Hi jere, some basic tool, yes. 90% of it has been fab work so mostly grinder, welder, file and basic hammer & dolly work. I need to learn more about metal forming now to finish off the fire wall and bits to the trans tunnel. Plus a few odd bits. My old mans a fitter so I've learnt most of what I know from him so far.

Hello Justin:

Are you going to sink the fire wall for more clearance for the engine?

A trick I play on my students when they are feeling good about them self after making a nice looking hood scoop or blister, I ask them to make another one exactly like the one they just made. Amazing how the bright smiles go away about half way through. They learn more when trying to make the second one because they have to be in control of the form the material is taking. Try this you will have lots of fun.
