Hello Mike, how did you go about making the left 1/4 rear panel? is that a 2 part panel that has been welded and finished? cause there is a lot of shape in that area and the panel looks really smooth and defined. nice workmanship

John, I am assuming you are asking about the rear most piece, as the seam is visible. That rear section is made up of 5 pieces, 2 large total crown and 3 smaller pieces 2 of which have anticlastic/reverse curve. I struggle with the reverse curves still, so they are smaller and intentionally seamed to simplify shaping.
Neil, I am loving shaping metal! Everybody around me is tired of my stories of combating every small issue. Arthritis is causing problems in my right shoulder, so it's slow going. I can work 6days at a crack but need 3 days to recoop. ![]()

Hi Mike
Could you please place tape or mark on the qtr panel, where the weld seams are? Then submit a new photo it is hard to see where they are, since you did such a good job of metal finishing it. Thanks Steve

All welded seams are shown in blue tape. There is 1 more weld yet to do, attaching the 1/4 panel frt and rear. Rocker has 2 seams and door skin has 1. I'm still planishing some small areas on each.

Wow That is a lot of shape in the two rear sections. Really looking good!!!!!! That Will Really get some second looks, ........ I didn't,t think those Jags were that wide...... ![]() ![]() Steve

The body will be 16" wider than original, making it slightly wider than a new Camaro.
