It is exactly what you needed. It is far into the vid but it would have shown how he gets a good fit and tacked in with one cut By laying it on top of the part. His method might be crude to some but his results are much much better than the vast majority of what most body men can do. I have been doing his stuff for a long time and find his vids quite good. I am currently scratch building 2 cobra daytona coupes to original specs. The goal is to have polished aluminum bodies. By the way you got the job done and it looks very good.

Thanks. Thats pretty much what I did, after doing the initial fitting with insert on top. And its my normal procedure, I do old car metal for a living and have for a long time. So watching other people do bodywork doesn't get much attention span. Making dies is something that doesn't come up in my world, no press.

When I first posted, I'd hoped to find more folks who had done these. I followed my gut and its long since done but I like to put follow up pics on things like this when I can.
