Default New guy - Florida

Hi all,

Been a long time antique/classic car guy. 45+ years now...scary how it goes by so fast!

Always been a DIY kinda guy - engines, transmissions, chassis stuff. Did the official Automotive training way back when at a community college during a break from university. I really had a thirst to learn more about cars and needed access to the tools to build my first car - a 65 Malibu SS.

Over the years a few different vehicles - but right now have a 31 Chevy 5 window coupe hot rod - built SBC, TH400, custom 9", boxed frame, 4 link w coilovers, MII front end. A super original 68 Camaro RS/SS convertible - 396, 4sp, 12 bolt. And my daily is a 65 C10 shortbed Fleetside.

Recently took a metal shaping class thru TinMan Garage and have started to collect some home shop level tools.

Really just looking for inspiration and ideas.

I also do a lot of automotive photography. The Daytona Turkey Run is the biggest and some small audience annual calendars.
