Default Hello from Buda

Hello, My name is John. I live Just outside Austin, TX (SXSW this week!! and cant wait for F1 ) in Buda. I have lived most of my life in central Texas and have for the most part worked as an auto technician for the majority of my employment. I have always enjoyed restoring old Volvo's and Jeeps , currently have 3 P1800's that all need some sheet metal work and would like to customize at least one ( saw DAKOTA's post, Nice work), hence time to learn a new skill. My oldest son has 3 - 1948 Willys jeeps that are also lifetime projects in need of work, so we will both be learning. I enjoy blacksmithing, fabricating anything out of steel and restoring old machines and tractors. I also serve as a volunteer firefighter/EMT with our local Fire department in my spare time.

Looking forward to gathering some of the knowledge and skills that are available on this forum

Thanks

John Hargett
