hello from bowmanville, ontario
hey everyone,
i recently purchased a project truck (52 chevy 1/2 ton) and one of the main reasons i got it was to learn and hone some fabrication skills. i have an aviation background and having witnessed what some guys can do with a hammer, dolly and knowledge has always amazed me so i am here to learn. i would like to try and repair whatever i can on the truck not just to save money but mostly so i can say i truly restored it and not just bought new parts for it you know? cheers, ryan

Welcome aboard Ryan! There's quite a few of us here from the Southern Ontario area, so keep your eye on the Events category for future metalshaping events. I expect to be hosting another one in Flamborough sometime in late September, hopefully you can make it over to meet some of the guys and try out some of the equipment.
Have fun on the website.

Welcome aboard Ryan. Sounds like a fun project. Just saw a 53 parked across the street from me. They have great lines.
