Default Hi from sunny Scotland

Hey, just saying hello, looking forward to taking part in the forum. Im into old cars, vw, Ford and mini mostly but like anything that looks period but goes like stink. Currently on a full rebuild of a 63 mini Cooper replica. Hope to complete by end of spring then im onto a type 2 camper. My current toy is an all singing all dancing mk1 cortina. I mig, stick and have recently started tig welding.in process of kitting out my new workshop.

Welcome to the forum Niall, there’s plenty of information on here and lots of people willing to help and give advice. Post pictures when you can, ask about what you don’t know, visit and post as often as you can.

It’ll be nice to see some photos of the Mk 1 Cortina.

Welcome to the forum Niall. 'Love those Mk1 Cortinas!
My first car was a '65 Mk1 which my mom wrote off before I got my license. She replaced it with a '64 GT which I rebuilt and owned for some 10 years, continuously upgrading it for more & more performance. Most motoring fun I ever had...

Brilliant, everybody i Scotland had a cortina or escort, I remember my first mk1 escort was £150.
