Hi Guys,

I have been talking with Steve Hamilton and some of the other guys about this years even at Jim's. We are looking for presenters, door prizes, and "what you guys would like to see" Got ideas???

For new guys making the trip, welcome! The link below is a list of things to expect while attending events.

https://www.allmetalshaping.com/showthread.php?t=4667

For everyone attending, if you want to see something, let the group know, sooner the better. There is a lot of talent that shows up and people willing to help.

See you in August

Bill

I'm working on a project, wheeling .063 3003 and fitting to a wireform buck for the first time. I've watched a ton of Wray Schelin's videos which have been great at getting me off the ground and to about the 80% point. I could use a seminar in getting that last 20% final fit and finish worked out.

Also, I'm a halfway decent Al TIG welder, but have never actually tried gas welding panels - might be useful to have some training wheels on...

Where does everybody usually stay?

Oh! And if anyone needs to reproduce/restore marque badges, I have a 110V enameling kiln I can bring.

I picked it up cheap, and have been toying with seeing if it'll be effective for heat treating dies.

To update Kerry’s checklist from 2011 in the link Bill posted for newer attendees.. please understand that the mentioned $30/day donation is better than nothing, but it’s not 2011 anymore.

While spending all day & evening in his big air-conditioned shop in mid August in TN eating 2-3 quality meals a day PLUS all the actual Metalshaping-related happenings, I hope the wheels in your head are constantly turning about how much it would cost to do the same things at a comparable event at your shop. Just the before & after event general work and costs are enough to make most people think twice about how much it costs to make an event like this happen.

So many people are being generous to a fault to make this event fantastic. Return the favor and be generous to a fault with your anonymous $$$ support. Then we all win.

Thanks, Jim.
