That's the best thing to do man. Life's too short to sweat the small imperfections. Frontend looks really nice. You've done an outstanding job.

Thanks guys. I had one of my best "working on the car days" today.
I got the pass side fender top cup off and the new piece started to tack in. Thanks for gawkin', |

That really looks great Pugsy! What is the plan for the grill?

Thanks Kerry.
I'll have to get a felt tip marker and start drawing, snapping pics and drawing some more. I'm pretty sure I'll be doing a two piece grill. Maybe stainless flat bars buffed to mirror finish...... Its still up in the air. |

I like it!
The frontend is looking very nice Juri!
I'll have to pop down to your shop on of these days to check it out in person.

Wow, that looks really nice Pugsy! Redesigning the look of the front of a car is a huge challenge, and you've managed to capture a really nice look with those panels. I can't wait to see what you come up with for the hood and grille.
Ken p.s. - I can't see any pictures in your last post, or in post #50 (I saw them in your gallery), did you post them any differently than the others? Last edited by kenb; 02-15-2010 at 06:22 PM. |

Thanks Ken.
I owe you and Derrol a debt of gratitude for showing me the basics when I came down to your place the first time. Without the guidance, this would not have been possible. As for the pics, I've talked with Joe Hartson about the problems. For some reason the URL is wrong for my pics. To post a pic I open it up to large size from my album, right click, hit copy and then paste it into the thread. The grill should be an interesting project. Not sure what that will entail. I'm at a point where I don't think I can do anything with the hood unless I secure the fenders properly with the inner fenders. I can't do inner fenders until I have the new frame to bolt them to. Does that sound about right? I could probably make the hood with oversized side flaps on it and then tip or trim the edges later..... Sounds like an interesting spring project...... Thanks, |

Got the frame started.
I need to get the frame under the car to help hold the new metal in place or I'll be going in circles...... Thanks, Last edited by 123pugsy; 03-29-2010 at 05:07 AM. |
