Steven. Drive nails into the table in the required size according to the shape of the spring and bend the appropriate wire.
You can make that easily.
In a similar way, I bent iron rods into concrete. This is similar. Just different material.
Or use full padding for the entire seat.

We threaded 3/8" bolts into the top of my workbench, and formed the around them. The workbench top is MDF, so is sacrificial. It will be replaced someday.
