Hi guys,

Just wanted to post a quick update on my project. I have the car sitting in sealer to protect the primer which I tinted Wimbledon White. The next phase is assembly and then driving to work out all the bugs (hopefully not many) and once in happy with things, I'll break it down for final paint.

I'm happy so far. Once I get things further along I plan on forming a Hardtop out of aluminum. Posting soon will be the gas tank I had Rick Mullin make for me.

Thank you all for the support along the way. You're a great bunch and the talent here is off the charts!

Cheers,
Dave

I'm glad I have been driving mine before paint as given me great confidence that every works and clears and no more modifications are needed.

Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.

Thanks, Larry. I appreciate that.

Yep, exactly why I don’t want final paint now. I’m sure things will need to be modified and such. Hopefully nothing major.

More to come….

A few updates on progress. I've got the suspension in and it's on its own four wheels for a bit. It'll be back on jack stands since I'll need to fabricate exhaust. A lot of period parts for the correct look. I combined a newer Retro Sound radio with original parts for the correct look. Still need a speaker. Working on heater controls, among other things.

Funny thing, wipers are the first functioning piece in a car that will never see rain!
