In the last picture how did you make the curved sides and what did you use? I have a 35 chevy truck cab that im going to be restoring soon and it has similar side panels

Looks like you are roaring through that at a quick pace - especially as you are doing it part time. Looks good so far.

Thanks folks

Ross its just getting some redoxide primer on it and its away...

There is an auction local to me next week so might see if there is anything that needs the major metalwork that scares folk off from bidding ... or makes the metal work restoration uneconomical to them from a commercial perspective ....

Missed a few things at the auction mentioned above but was really interested in a 1920s era Austin Doctors coupe that was complete but needed help in the metal work dept... It sold for £1000... I was stood there like a dope half listening to the fella next to me and half listening to what was going on at the auction and before I realised it the car was knocked down ... Never mind .. no point crying over spilt milk ( which is fast becomming my catch phrase lol )

Ive made some progress with the Fraser Nash BMW the floor was to far gone so made a new rear section and against m better judgement I decided to repair ratehr than replace the front section... ... well some of it has to be original...

So this is what it stared like ........

With the component parts of the rear floor in the ball park I took the front floor and chassis to the blaster... I got the floor back withon a short time but the chassis is still there awaiting his attention... so I made a start to the floor sections but will have to wait for the chassis before I can final fit any of the bits ... undoubtedly they will all need a tweek......

In a spare moment I decided the bulkhead was past it too ....

new bulkhead .......... its just a big old coal bunker really nothing technical.. Its been good for getting disciplined on the folding... making sure the fold lines were accurate and taking time to make sure they were lined up properly before actually making the fold... stuff you take for granted which often bites your ass..
