Default Returning to my first interest

After retiring from the Army, I'm finally in a position to afford the first true hobby I ever wanted to be involved in: vintage automobiles. The military isn't conducive to hauling around shop equipment, so I have studied the history of early racing, visited as many museums that my travels have allowed, and interviewed craftsmen in the industry to gain as much knowledge that I could carry around with me as I went from station to station. Soon I will complete my degree and land at a place with some permanence. I will begin setting up shop and learn, practice, and document old techniques so they will be passed on to keep vintage racers and automobiles roadworthy or replicated for others to enjoy.

Tom, thank you for your service!

Taken from an editor's intro to the Frank Herbert Novel, "Dune",

I envy you for your opportunity to take this (new) journey for the first time.

There are many threads by masters of this art in which will contribute to your development.

Onward and upward !
