Post Rick from Honeoye NY

Hello, I am retired and now mentor our local high school robotics team. I recently started restoring a 1960 Triumph TR3A. This is my first frame off restoration so I have been learning metal working and other new skills as I go. I have a degree in Automotive Technology from morrisville but I have never done bodywork at this level before so it’s all new. I consider this my second career. I have learned to MIG weld sheet metal and done some smaller body work before but never made large repair panels. I am trying to keep the my restoration as close to the original as I can. I recently bought an English wheel and I’m interested in learning how to use it properly as well as the other body hammers and dollys that I have collected so far. I would welcome any information about Old Triumps automobiles or metal working in general. Thank you.
