Default New guy from the far right coast

Thank you for the speedy registration, I'm looking forward to learning a lot as time goes on ,and I hope to be able to contribute a little from time to time. I'm new to making my own machines, so I tend to lurk rather than post, learning all I can about the machines and thier use.

Hello, Joe,
I have a small auto repair/body shop/custom shop, doing whatever comes along to pay the bills. I've recently started building my own metal shaping machines(can't afford to buy them)and have found that the tools are much more fun than the cars. I hope to enjoy many hours of learning here as I have on M.M. What about you?

Thanks, guys, this looks like a friendly group, and the threads so far have got me digging through my junk pile again, looking for just the right parts. I may surprise myself and actually build something I'll be sure to share
