At the end of the sidepanels i rolled over the edges to the outside .

Next up was the trunk lid, first i made a little testpiece , trying out if it works , like i thought .

folded the edges in the metal brake and used the kickshrinker to shape the lid

than i made the oppenings for the para shut mounts .

With them in place , i made a pattern for more speed holes using a pair of dividers.

after carafully marking out all these holes i drilled them first with a 2mm drill bit followed by a step drill bit

then punched and dimpled with my hydraulic press

The car owner made this inside frame witch secure the front to the chassis .
The front needs to be easily removable in one piece. In the front of the frame , there are 2 hooks that fit right on the wing mounts , and in the back are 2 locating pins and 2 locating fittings mounted to the chassis .

The racecar outside of my workshop for the first time after all that work . Always a great moment , looking at the projekt from a distance in daylight. The owner needed the car back to his workshop , so he can keep on working on the rest of the car .
