Big jump all of a sudden to see paint on it. Always a great point in the build even if only the epoxy coat.

For the cost involved, this is a no-brainer, if you can afford one of Peter's cast machines, you should be all over it. What I've seen thus far is night and day difference as compared to the fabricated wheel. Can't wait to use it more. Dang paint jobs in the way...

That is a great observation on the difference in the wheels. I had not thought of before. Make sense when you think about it.

Sure looks nice.
Great to see the shiny black all over ... Magnets: will yank plasma and TIG arcs, so have to watch out.... also, having the plasma cut close to the ground connect will destabilize the arc - and it can go horizontal across the surface....! Wheel frame design - I tend to see steel/iron differences as "stored energy" - like tennis ball vs superball.....? Higher stored energy releases more.....?

Sorry to pop up an old thread but as this post is not metalshaping per se, and more of a follow up to metalshaping, thought I'd post it here.
Richard and Brandon Glymph got some green sprayed yesterday, the project is starting to take shape... Videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfd_Dw9uyyA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgnwfZ5Irvw .
