....might want to hammer/dolly that welded edge a bit - stretch out the shrink from welding.
Yep, done this before.
I use a deep reach double-face hammer for a solid swat.
I go evenly-paced down 3 inches - whack-whack-whack, same even spacing, same amount of hit .... and then check with straight-edge....
Calibrate your whacks.

I did hammer and dolly it some already and it's actually better than the pic shows now, but still needs more. I like to post these side effects for fellas following along to learn from my misery.


Seems all a guy sees online is a fella adding rod to edges and then afterwards a perfectly smooth panel as though this stuff doesn't happen to them.


I've moved on to the DS door to get away from the frustration for now.
