Measurement is a must. I'm going for sure. Minor mistakes are then more minor.
I almost have the left fender. Now transfer the shape of the front to the other side. Leveled table, leveled prism, Perpendicularly transferred shape. The shape I drew on vertical paper will be made of sheet metal for the other side. I turn the bottom paper 180 degrees according to the prism and thus transfer the shapes to the other side. I bend the wire according to these curves and the template is ready. In 20 minutes I was forced to shape the back of the rear fender for customer approval. Ufff ....

Hi Jaro,
You are showing several pix of "metal tenderizer" tool/dolly. Yes, they leave quite the marks, especially if you use the complete set: You will make a name for yourself by leaving these tracks on your work.

Kent, in this case it's used as a paper weight. I haven't used the rough side yet.

I have some hammers after a very good bodybuilder who stopped old age. Alzheimer's.
I was looking at things according to the ad. There wasn't much left. There was a pile of things on the ground to throw away. His son was clearing the house and throwing things away. In the meantime, there were 3 hammers that I really like to use. And now watch out. I can always do it with them. As if the gentleman I hadn't never seen guided me. I'm not sensitive, but something works. I marked those mallets ....

Transfer the shape to the left. Everything aligned perpendicular to the center of the car. 3D cnc hand system. I just replaced the paper with sheet metal. Now I have to reinforce with reinforcements and the templates are ready.

HI Jaro,
I've been following the project and it's fantastic your skills and the work you do.. The wire frames for the fenders, are those just bucks to shape the meatal to or will they be part of the finished fenders. I figure they are temporary, but had to ask to be sure. Will you be doing a wire edge on the any of the fenders. Thanks for sharing a great project. TX Mr fixit Chris |

Thank you Chriz. Unfortunately, this is only a template for the fender. The wire will be up to the final fender. These templates only determined the shape of the fenders and the customer had to approve them. This is so that we can move from the place and finally finish it. I didn't have the courage to shape in the air.
But I show how it is possible to transfer the dimensions to the other side quite accurately. Strings, spirit level, paper, laser, brain threads ... maybe it will relieve someone of fear. I'm scared here every day, but I always move on.

Finally back to the car. I have little space in the workshop, when the car leaves, everyone will be relieved. Originally I wanted to make only accessories and not whole cars. We'll see which way it goes.
I made a bend over the rubber wheel on both sides of the sheet. The fenders will be in two pieces. I don't know if this is the ideal procedure, but so far it looks like I could be successful. Yesterday I just lightly tried to see if it would work. It's terribly hot here. It's better by the pool...
