Hello David,

that is a really interesting tread, very cool project. since you ask for some feedback,i would add some more details too the firewall. not too much, some well placed beads or some recessed areas, will make the difference.

something like this, maybee.

Hi Silvio, I have seen your stuff, its very clever but I am building a traditional hot rod, your work is art and should be on a wall. By extra detail I meant make it more like the original not less like it.

Traditional style, in my opinion should look more like stock.

But a couple of beads never hurt anyone. Its your car. Do whatever floats your boat.

The thing is that by the time I have the engine in most of this area will be cut away or covered. How much work should I go to, I have to finish the car ASAP.

I remember now it was a French guy, very clever work, not really hamb friendly, on a VW. I was going to invite him here

David the shaping is comming along well so far, you seem to get a resonable amout of time between work to to progress with it. I sometimes find it hard after working on customers cars to get the motivation to work on my own projects.

Jamie I have been building this for a good few months now, a lot of the mechanical work and donley work has been done by my friend Glen. Because of his regular visits I feel I have to get something done in between!.
