Hello from Washington State
Hello everyone, thanks for adding me to the group. I am a craftsman that works in any kind of material. I have have been lucky to have done a lot of differing projects ranging from very simple to extremely complex. I love working in metal and have been building my tool inventory for many years. I am always wanting to learn more and wish I had a lot more skills and knowledge.
I quickly get myself in over my head but I think that has been a big part of my success. My first big project in sheet metal was a rear frame clip and big tubs on a friends Elcamino. That was when I chose to make my first real sheet metal tool, a press brake, to form the radius for the project. I used a trailer ball as a dollie and what is still my favorite Martin body hammer. Since then I have acquired a wheel, shrinker/stretchers, box and pane break, bead roller, air hammer and various home made mandrels. I have had some great successes in my own mind along the way but always want to do more. I am not great at showing off my work, I seem to use most of my energy in the shop. I am always amazed at what I see on the internet, this skills people have is absolutely amazing. See ya out there, Lynn
