Thank you Steve. I try to show the process and make the way easier for others. The only thing I didn't document was the final shape adjustment.
It went something like this: The part was lying on a steel table and I was pounding on it with a crimping hammer....the customer was pointing his finger here and there and where else....quite a risk. These are the nervous symphonies that cannot be documented photographically. But we are a fine-tuned team. I try to comply but sometimes....!!!! It is fun. What matters is the result.

The carburetor cover is blue. Everything came together in one place at Le Mans today 2023. In 1949, a similar car placed second. This car also participated in 1949. I contributed several parts. The car can be seen in the video at minute 3.37.

Thank you Pugsy. At minute 11.25 I see him driving. And then more times. The commentator comments that his exhaust is smoking and he had a note to finish. There is a two-stroke two-cylinder engine in it. The guys put more oil to lubricate it..... It runs without problems.
