Default Introduction from WA

My name is Patrick, out in the PNW area of Washington State.

I learned the performance side of cars from my dad, and the cosmetic side from my best friends dad. We grew up learning to do bodywork, paint, engine builds etc on our own cars and small things for friends.

Went to school for Drafting and worked as CAD operator for 5-6yrs as kept working on cars, and 4x4's. One the side I started building small things for friends, then got more into 4x4 stuff building roll cages, chassis, suspension etc. Built a 62 Chevy II convertible for my wife and sparked wanting to do it more, so started my shop in 2001 doing mostly 4x4 fabrication and a little hot rod/car stuff. In the last seven years moved shop location and 95% of our work is drag race fabrication, street rod builds, resto-mods and the occasional 4x4 project.

Over the years have acquired a lot of tooling for fabrication work and sheet metal forming, have always been self taught and watch others so figured would join to get some tips and tricks.
