Anyone talked to RodDoc Richard Crees lately?

I looked at the excavator shaping method. It's brilliant. Simplicity is always the greatest beauty. Everyone can made complex machines and use demanding methods, draw state money or from a rich uncle. But simple thinking leading to an effective result is a rarity.

We did the reverse of this when I worked for a gas tank installation and removal company in the 1960's. After degassing the tank we would cut the ends out and then cut the 8' diameter tanks into 8' sections which we cut in half once more. we laid these inside down in the yard driveway and over time the dump truck traffic would iron them into very flat rust free sheets ready for use.

I've never had earthmoving equipment standing around idle at any metal working locales ... but YES - use what is available!
