Default Hi from Finland.

Hi, decided to join this forum as I've been looking for a forum like this to learn more about shaping metal and metal fabrication overall.

I'll be getting my drivers license this summer when i turn 18, and hopefully I will have my 65 VW Bug driveable before late fall, so I can enjoy it atleast a little before the dark winter months.
I love making things out of metal and I am constantly learning and getting better (often by making lots of mistakes before I get it right) and I hope that joining this site will improve my sheet metal work, although my Beetle is soon to be painted once I have the bodywork all done.

Anyway, that's my introduction I guess. Thanks for reading

Jerry, Finland

Welcome Jerry, I restored a vw when I was seventeen too. They are great cars with fun areas to repair.

Welcome to the forum Jerry. Nice to know some young people are into old cars and want to learn old skills.
