Yoder K-90 Thumbnail Shrinking Dies
I am selling a set of shrinking dies made by Renato Muskovic. These are the 3” dies and fit the big Yoder and Pettingell power hammers. These came with my hammer and I haven’t used them. I am happy with the results of my current dies and these have just been sitting in a drawer for a few years and they really should be used. These are basically brand new and in great shape, ready to use. Make me an offer if you’re interested in them.

Shape
That’s an interesting profile shape, where the thumbnail is relieved near the end instead of continuing up.

I’ve heard good things as well and I’ve talked with Renato about them. They are a little bit different in the design than the traditional ones you see. I just don’t have any experience with them to be able to share my personal thoughts other than that they’re nice.

I’d say they appear to copies of Red’s dies. A bit harder to tune to perfection but when working correctly they mark up the metal considerably less than the Yoder style dies that most people are familiar with. ~ John Buchtenkirch

I’ve had several inquiries and the first question is in regards to the price. Does anybody have any idea what a fair price would be for these dies?
Thanks |
