Default I'm Jonathan

Hi, my name is Jonathan. I live in Williston, Florida. I've been doing body work and fiberglass repair for years. I've done quite a bit of rust repair, mostly using premaid repair panels and MIG welding them in. I've always been interested in the actual metal shaping itself but have done very little. Well I hope to learn some things from this forum, it looks like a large community. Okay, well that's all for now.

Welcome Jonathan,

Gas welding, or TIG welding in panels is much better than MIGing them in. You've come to the right place to learn. Only a handful of experts here, mostly eager learners.

Yikes!! I remember getting into a huge load of arguments for saying that Bill.

Welcome to the forum Jonathan. Lots of nice people on here. You can do a lot of shaping with just hand tools so you possibly have most of what you need to get started already. You will always need hand skills so its worth learning that first.

David.
