Hello from Spokane
Hi, I'm Ken, from Spokane, Wa. Found this site while searching google "how to correctly repair metal" and signed up to learn. I have a '32 Ford, and a couple of '64 Impala's, that need repair, and figured I'd keep my mouth shut, eyes and ears open, and learn what I can here. I have the usual cheap WoodwardFab/HF bead roller, and shrinker/stretchers, and am just a hobbyist, so they do fine, but I'm sure there's more to learn.
I TIG aluminum for a living and am married with kids and grandkids. My 9y/o was recently diagnosed with Cancer, so that's been a life changer for sure, but she's a fighter, and we changed our lives quite a bit to deal with it. She was always out in the shop with me, and learning to weld when this happened, so it's been hard to go back out to the shop, but I'm working on it, and part of the process is getting back into my metal repairs on my cars. Hope I followed the rules correctly, with my registration, and look forward to learning what I can. Thanks, Ken |
Hi Ken, welcome to allmetalshaping. It's awful for you and your family that your daughter is sick. I hope she is on the mend. Don't stay silent ask questions, comment and post your successes and failures.
