Hello All!
My name is Erick and I have had a passing interest in metalwork most of my life. I am a mechanical engineer by trade, having worked up through the ranks, starting in fabrication. I initially started learning metal work to fix the old cars I drove. As I got older my wife got me into a hobby that has me making medieval armour reproductions, such as the gothic sallet I made a few years ago;







I found this site searching for tips on aluminum motorcycle tank construction, as I am currently tinkering with this;

I hope to be an active participant, I love to learn as well as pass on what I have learned.
