Hi everyone,
My name is Carmen and I reside in Norfolk Va. Cars have been a hobby for about 12 years now. Always my first love but the culinary arts were my first career. I always wanted to expand my skills in the automotive industry and in 2010 I graduated from HRI, the Hot Rod Institute, in Rapid City, S.D. while building a custom 1928 Studebaker. The only Studebaker part is the body, a 4 dr sedan that was the b pillar forward. I built a complete back and turned it into a truck body. I fully redesigned the driveline as well. I've been back in Virginia for a few years now and work at a wonderful shop. However I've only been doing this professionally for a few years and am wanting to expand my knowledge. I am always looking for new methods and just to improve my skills. And besides I know I have so much to still learn. Looking forward to being a member. Thanks. Carmen

Trust me, you have forgotten more about metal shaping than I will ever know. I have an interst, but have yet to beat a sheet.
We want pictures of your studebaker.
