Newbie from Ohio
I'm just getting back into fabrication and metal shaping as I finally have a place to work again with the purchase of a garage that should close by the end of the week. I spent my teenage years working on cars and about anything else. In fact, I still have the 1967 Firebird that I purchased when I was 19.
Unfortunately, time hasn't been good to the 67 bird and I need to do some major work to it. My first task on the car will be to build a chassis jig to support the car as I cut it up and put it back together. I will actually be building two jigs as I have a 68 Firebird that needs much less work. Oh, and the kids need a go cart, so I'll need to fabricate that on a small chassis jig. In general, I'm interest in just making things. I've got some ideas for everything from furniture to a robotic lawn mower. So, I'm here to learn and hopefully help someone out. At least, maybe someone can get a laugh at something stupid I do.

Welcome! Great to have another person from Ohio. Soon we might have enough for our own meet.
