Post new member from SC

I am a retired educator living in Rock Hill, SC . My hobbies include cars, woodworking, and antique engines. I would like to learn more about metal shaping and sheet metal working. I have always wanted to make a Lotus Super 7 clone.

Welcome to the group.

A Lotus Super 7 sounds like a good project. Always thought one would be fun and almost ran off the road when I thought I spotted newly parked/uncovered behind a run down trailer driving my TR3B home from high school one day years ago. Turned out to only be part of a very bad pseudo-Lotus replica and not for sale anyways..

If you missed this year's Redneck Roundup over at RockHillWill's place, hopefully you won't miss the next one. It's always great to see another pair of hands from SC on the forum.

Hello Bill and welcome to the site.

I just lowered the upper support member on a "zero" two weeks ago. Engine clearance problem.
