Thumbs up Curious inquirer

Hello all.

My name is Ken minto. Mostly known as skruffy. I'm 35, born and raised in Connecticut(not the rich part). I'm a high school grad and am currently 4 credits shy of an associate's in business management. I'm a very proud father of an awesome little girl, who also shares my love of creativity.

I started tinkering around with metal stuff about ten years ago. Mostly boltable applications. Made my first motorbike from an old backpack leaf blower and a half dead mountain bike. Was terrible, scary and had way too much duct tape and hose clamps. Since then I've taught myself to braze, and am now teaching myself mig welding. I'm a curious inquirer. I spend a lot of time reading shop manuals for small engines, and have been known to actually fix things from time to time.

I'm part of a 3 person motorbike business. We make our own parts, and occasionally get lucky to sell some. I'm very intrigued to learn techniques to shape metal. I've always had a love of old school choppers and all the fab work put into them. Especially gas tanks, and fenders.

Thanks for reading my giberish. Hope to be showing my busted fingers soon.
