Thank you Garet. I greatly appreciate the tools. I saw the end of a wonderful workshop. The man stopped aging and memory loss. His son sold it to me, . Sad. I take the baton - for now.

Old tools are important when they continue to be used as tools as they were meant to be used. Lots of people don't know or understand what goes into a craftsman's tool inventory. Like you said, now it's your turn to keep up the good work until that baton passes.

Yes a bit sad, the end of a run for a craftsman and the finality of seeing his tools sold off really had to hurt him but it’s still far better than knowing they were scraped.
If you have the time I’d like to see closer photos of them with a little space between them. Just love the old body tools. ~ John Buchtenkirch
