Hello,
I am a father, husband and all around tinkerer. I have restored several motorcycles and equipment items and have putzed with autobody work. Working on total restoration of a 1960 VW with my oldest son who is working on his first car. Of course it is going to need some sheet metal formed that isn't available from commercial sources. Always been fascinated with what can be accomplished in metal and hope to learn some of the "magic".

Welcome James.
There’s plenty of help here. Post pictures of the work needed and you will get plenty of advice. Attending a metal meet or shaping class will help advance your skill level also. Most VW sheet metal is available, but it still takes some doing to weld and line it up.
