I've worked around metal my whole life, grew up in a ductwork shop. I still enjoy it after 25 years but the last 5 years I've been working on expanding my skills. We do off road racing and also dirt track stuff so I create many opportunities to learn new skills. IE, I break a lot of stuff. Currently have a 12 foot shear, 10 foot brake, 4 foot box and pan, 5x10 plasma table, 6 foot press brake, notcher, slip roll, horizontal and vertical band saw, specialty duct tools, shrinker stretcher, welders, mill and lathe.
I really like to do the more decorative intricate work, much better than making 1000 pounds of straight duct.

Welcome to the forum, Tim! We have some meets locally (southern Michigan), that you may be interested in. Usually during spring and summer, but it's a chance to see, use and discuss techniques.
