Glad you found us Greg, folk here are so willing to share, none of that bitching you get from some sites.
Posts your thoughts and its fantastic the responce you get from all over the world, all these guys creating things from flat sheets of metal. I stumbled upon the site while looking for wheeling machines, up popped Kerry's art deco roadster, http://www.allmetalshaping.com/showthread.php?t=145 I was hooked. As I said, post your thoughts. Cheers

That stump is sweet, how long did you whittle on that?

The sump took less than two hours start to finish. I started with a chainsaw to square up the ends, make the flat sides, the bowl and the two side corner cuts (that part is not my idea, I seen it on someone elses and thought is was a good, but then again the sump is not my idea either).
Side note, just got a new saw. Stihl Farm Boss, which made it way faster. I’ve have many saws over the last 20 years and this is by far the best I’ve had. Rough out with a wood chisel and then 40 grit flap wheel and called it good. Thanks everyone for the welcome.
