Default Hello from Detroit!

Hello Everyone!
I am new to the site. I currently have a 1955 F250 truck that I am building into a resto-mod. I have extensively modified the frame to incorporate a 2020 Mustang GT independent rear suspension, a supercharged 5.0L Coyote Gen3 engine with a 10 Speed transmission, and a full Detroit Speed front suspension.

On the body, I have done extensive body modifications, including:
1) Extending the cab/doors 5" (for more leg room)
2) Fabricate and bead roll a new firewall,
3) Fabricate and beadroll new floor panels.
4) Extensively modify the dash to integrate Air Conditioning vents, radio, HVAC controls, Push Button start, and other goodies.
5) Add (and reposition) new steering column and integrating Mustang throttle and brake pedals.
6) Modifying the frame to move the front suspension forward 6"
7) Modifying the windshield and rear glass frames to incorporate flush mounted glass.
8) Lowering the front windshield frame about an inch to obtain nicer "lines" in the body.
9) Extensively modifying the fenders for the new wheelbase
and much more. I am still in the build process, which will take me a couple more years to complete.

I have some great metal shaping tools, including:
a) English Wheel
b) Planishing hammers
c) Fabrication table (with 16mm holes for jigs/fixtures)
d) TIG and MIG Welders
e) Lathe
f) Bridgeport Mill
g) Band Saws (Horizontal & Vertical)
i) Sheet Metal Brake
j) Pounding Station with many dollies, hammers, sand bags, etc.
k) Sandblaster.... and more

I want to join the site to learn best practices, meet people, and get ideas.

Thanks!
Jeff K
