I was thinking the same thing!
I had the pleasure of meeting Sollis at the last Santa Cruz Metal Meet.
I was very impressed watching him hammer out a Motor Cycle tank, weld it, plannish it. He was not happy with it, cut it in half the other direction, and plannished the halfs and weld it back together. in just a few hours!

I remember it was too much noise for small tank like that , i give that gas tank to some kid he got it on his bicycle now

if you can recognize work quality you on good track already
all you have to do its work master skills learn techniques and never try to be a best you we can only become good after that we become better

Sollis, glad to see you posting. I am a big fan of your talent. The work you always post has inspired me in the past and even now makes me want to start finding time to get my skills elevated to at least a point where I would be proud of the to say that that scrap is some of my best work.

All kidding aside, I really do want to get back to learning how to do the shaping of parts I want to use on my bikes. Seeing your post again makes me say to myself that now is the time to make more time for shaping metal again.

Please, please, please, keep the post coming.
