Hi Terry, a workshop that big as a hobby workshop would fullfill a dream for me too! my workshop is less than a thousand square foot and I have to rent that in order to make my living. Space is expensive here even in these times. Good luck with finishing it. How do you find time when you have seven kids? (lol) Its bad enough with two! I couldn't deal with the cold though, its cold enough here at the moment!.

Hello David
Thanks everybody for the welcome. I have recently bought your DVD (davids) and am excited to put your training into practice. Actually we also homeschool, and the boys love bashing tin after schools out. my kids have all played with the mig welder, down to the 5 yr old, and i think i could sell it as modern art! I have floor heat in the shop and a wood fired outdoor boiler, and 7 little woodcutters! Actually my welding apprenticeship paid off during the Alberta boom. We traveled around quite abit for 5 yrs, and was able to pay for the shop.
