My name is John Christensen. I am an automotive fabricator in the Denver Colorado area. My dad was a machinist who also had a small machine shop at home. I was exposed to metal work at the age of 10. I have an associate degree in welding. I also earned an education degree and intended to teach shop in a public H.S. At the time I graduated the school systems in my region cut back or eliminated shop in the schools. I fell back on my metal working experience and worked for machine shops and manufactures until starting on street rod and drag car work. I am 60 and now my focus is on metalshaping.
