Post Hello from Homburg\Gemany

Hi, I am Dirk from Germany, I am 41 years old and my Englich is very shit.
I translate the lyrics always google translator, but also makes many
problems. Of the reasons I have not been posted.
I have learned a lot from you, and find your site really great.
Here in Germany there are no metal forum. We know everyone makes out of
his a secret.
I am sending you like pictures of my work and my tools.

Greetings, and happy creating

Dirk

Dirk, welcome to AllMetalShaping and thanks for the introduction. Your English is much better than my German so don't worry about it at all. Glad to have you as a member, thanks for joining us.

Welcome Dirk. We'll help you with your English. Also there are several European's on the site who speak German who can help translate. Our software is VBulletin, one of the most popular bulletin software in the world and I'm sure you can easily find a German VBB site. All the VBB forums work basically the same regarding photo albums, attachments, and display but if you need help ask. We'll figure it out together.

Hi Dirk, Welcome. As Joe said your English is better than my German. (we English speakers are often lazy- can't be bothered to learn other languages) I think we will be able to understand what you are saying.

David

Hallo Dirk,

Meine Deutsch ist auch Scheiße!

Google translate is a nice tool, but from Dutch to German is doesn't work that great either. It picks the wrong synonyms. If I have doubts spelling I copy and paste the word in google search and if I'm wrong it says, "Did you mean..."

Nevertheless, as a non native english speaker: Ich habe Sie sehr gut verstanden! Don't let he language be a barrier and we all love and understand the language of pictures.

Welcome.
