Here is a guy that realy got into the spirit of the event.Randy showed up with no expectations of what this is all about.I introduced myself and showed him around a little and then( Hey Dan)got me put in another dirrection.Next thing I see is him leaving,so I went over thinking there was something wrong and he said he was going to pick up his project.Next thing I noticed him pulling up with some parts and pieces and we got him set up in an area so he could work on it.Then of course Dyce,Gene Olsen ,Mike (carryall),and roger are over there making him feel right at home.He ended up staying the rest of the event and got quite a bit done really sticking to it.So we talked as the event was comming to a close what his personal expectations were for this body, and I think his intent was to make a RatRod kind of deal but was really getting in to doing it more correctly. So I let him leave it at my place and come over and use my tools to get this looking alot better. We went through welding, planishing and shrink disc methodsand I was expecting the usual start strong and peter out enthusiasm. But Randy really stuck to it and never once made me feel like I was wasting floor space on someone that wasnt there to learn. He now will be able to pay it forword at this new event and share what he has learned.Dan
