Default another Canuck... in from the cold.

My user name was given to me many years ago. By no means do I profess to be an "expert" anything, let alone an expert metalshaper. But I do learn from doing, pretty much all the time. Currently, I feel limited in what I can do so I've embarked on building my own power hammer so that I can take my skills a little farther.

I've been addicted to building early Ford Hot Rods since I was a kid. I have at least five projects currently in bare metal. #1 is a '32 3w that I bought in '82 and still haven't driven. Hopefully I can find a cure for Adult Automotive Attention Deficit.

Looking forward to navigating this site and getting to know some of you. I'm sure I'll have questions along the way.

Daryl

Daryl, Welcome to the site and thanks for the introduction. There is information on the site about power hammers. If you have questions just ask. Thanks for joining us.

Hi Daryl

Thought you would have already been here. Didn't realize you had your 3W that long. Good thing you sold the 5W to Greg. Welcome to the forum.

Kevin.

Thank you for all the welcomes, lads. Kevin I just spent the last hour going through your Mustang resto. I think I can safely say, that you have served a full apprenticeship on that car. Amazing, thorough work. You must have an understanding wife when you sandblast IN the garage.

I've done a fair bit of navigating on this site and the one thing that sticks in my mind is that there aren't so many "theoretical metalworkers" but guys who actually get in, get dirty, and get things done.

Cool!
