WOW now I really am envious!!
Mines a 5x3m timber jobbie.
IVA is getting a nightmare at the moment, I do allot of work with Land ROvers and they are really cracking down on it now with this stupid points system. Anyway good luck and I hope you get it through soon as it look really cool!!!

IVA ? Thats a new one to me. I know about SVA and BIFA. If you modify Land Rovers can you not just keep the original registraion or do you build them up from bits. A friend of mine does off road competitions in Landies and they chop em up pretty good and do tray backs and all sorts and I'm pretty sure they don't have too much trouble with registration.

Hi Ross,

The screen is for a Suzuki Cappacino ( not sure about spelling ). I scoured the internet for a second hand one and only managed to find 1 for sale, it was in Spain and they wanted £400 for it. I had previously contacted Pilkington glass regarding having a bespoke screen made ( big money ) but I knew they had a massive selection of bucks and patterns for other screens so I contacted them and they made me this screen in what ever colour I wanted for about £100 .

Is your truck up and running and if so hows the performance of BMW lump ?

Neil, that's interesting to note about the glass. Could be handy one day.
Took the truck to Billing and the Supernats last year. Very pleased with how it goes. Surprisingly good mpg too. At just over a ton the bonnet starts to balloon upwards worryingly(guess fifties trucks were not designed for that speed!) but it has plenty left at that.
Your roadster should be a handful with that in it.
