Default New Guy Intro Nick Solovtzoff

Grew up in So Cal. Cruzed Van Nuys Blvd. in it's heyday. Worked for Gene Winfield and MaGoo. Spent some time around Bill Carter and Walter Prey. Bill was the premier Dragster, Funny Car and custom car painter in those days. Walt painted the "Gypsy Rose" 63 Impala that was seen in the opening shots of TV'S Chico and the Man. When I was 20 years old I moved around the country a bit and ended up in North Carolina to visit. I was down on money so I stayed and ended up working for Roger Hamby. At the time he was driving what NASCAR called "Baby Grands" which became the Darlington Dash series. I moved a few times and changed jobs a lot. Worked for Richard Childress building chassis's for a short time. Had my own shop for 14 years and burned out and went to work at a Freightliner truck manufacturing plant. I recently retired from Freightliner. I did reopen my car restoration business, specializing in custom metal work and fabrication. If you need some quality work done send me a message.
I collect Rat Fink/Ed Roth stuff and original Monster Style Artwork. Have a fondness for Assault Rifles.
