Default Greetings from Michigan

Hello All!! My name is Marc and I live in a rural area in the thumb of Michigan. I've worked on, built, repaired, restored cars for most of my 47 years. I can lay things out, fab brackets and weld, but never "shaped" metal. That's why I'm here, to learn. I have a 1941 Harley WLA that needs sheetmetal and someday I want to be able to make fenders and tanks from scratch. I want to be able to shrink and stretch metal and do sheet metal repair with little to no putty. I'm really looking forward to getting to know the members here and learning from you all.

Thank you and well met,

Marc

Welcome Marc. I have unpleasant memories of picking rocks during the summer on my grandparents farm near Croswell when I was a kid. I've found that the folks here are extremely helpful.
