Hello - my name is Harry, and I'm from Boise, Idaho. My sons and I are rebuilding their great-grandfather's 1951 Chevy truck. It is the car that my wife used when she learned to drive, so the whole family is excited to get it back on the road.
The truck sat in a field on the family farm for about 30 years, and while it's bones are strong, it needs quite a bit of cosmetic surgery. I've always been interested in working with metal, and this project presents a great opportunity to learn. We are all new to this skill, so we'll be learning rather than contributing; we hope to keep the stupid questions to a minimum!

Hi Harry, Welcome to the site, sounds like a good project and one that is worth doing well especially because of the family connection in the car.
