thanks for the welcome

great to see I am not completely alone in this part of the world

i was generalizing a bit to say i am from Capetown i am a bit more to the east in Strand ,but i suppose if Centurion is a stone throw and Johannesburg is up the road then Strand is a suburb of Capetown .

Hi Willem, welcome to the site you may find yourself using you're woodworking skill more than you think whilst metalshaping!. Becides if you have hand skills they can be transfered to other types of work with a little extra knowledge.
